An established industry player is seeking a Construction HSE Advisor to champion safety and compliance on site. This role is vital in ensuring that all site leadership and workers understand their responsibilities under the OH&S Act. Position : Project based-temporary / Full-Time
Work Schedule : 4 on and 3 off, working 10 hours per day
Reporting to : HSE Lead / Director, HSE

Job Purpose
The Construction HSE Advisor is responsible for ensuring that all site leadership and workers are aware of their responsibilities and obligations under the OH&S Act and regulations. Construction HSE Advisors are competency champions for the company ensuring that all site leadership is performing their role as it relates to competency.

Working Conditions
The incumbent is required to work from the site trailers in an office and field environment with moderate noise. The job may require the incumbent to walk stairs, climb ladders, work at heights and in confined spaces; be outside in inclement weather (slippery surfaces and cold); carrying objects, driving, and being exposed to normal office and field routines. This position will have also access to Owner provided camp facilities.
Physical Requirements
The incumbent is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: viewing a computer terminal for extended periods of time; and extensive reading. The incumbent is also required to stand and sit for extended periods of time and will require good physical attributes for walking on uneven ground, climbing, confined space entry, limited lifting, and sitting.
