Job summary

Ruth & Naomi's Mission in Chilliwack, BC seeks a Recovery Program Lead for the men’s recovery team. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 12:30 PM–8:30 PM, with a starting wage of $28.84/hour.

You will lead recovery programming, facilitate groups, and support participants on their journey toward lasting change in a faith-based setting. Ideal candidates bring education in addictions or social work, experience in recovery or mental health, and strong skills in facilitation, communication, and

Qualifications

• Education or training in addictions, social work, or related field preferred.
• Experience in addiction recovery is assets.
• Strong group facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Trauma-informed approach with clear boundaries and expectations.
• Strong organizational, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• First Aid/CPR Level 1 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and willingness to obtain Class 4.
• Willingness to complete Assisted Living training and Genesis Training/certification.

Are you passionate about walking alongside individuals on their journey toward recovery and lasting change?

Ruth & Naomi's Mission is looking for a compassionate, confident, and motivated Recovery Program Lead to join our Men's Recovery team!

In this role, you'll play an important part in delivering recovery programming, facilitating groups, supporting participants through their recovery journey, and creating an environment where individuals feel encouraged, supported, and accountable as they work toward lasting change.

What You'll Do

• Facilitate recovery groups, classes, check-ins, and structured programming.
• Provide case management support, life coaching, and day-to-day guidance to participants.
• Assess participant engagement, progress, and readiness to advance through recovery program phases.
• Support participants in developing life skills, healthy coping strategies, and personal accountability.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
• Level 1 First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it within 30 days.
