Job summary

Ruth & Naomi’s Mission in Chilliwack, BC seeks an Associate Director of Social Impact to provide operational leadership across social enterprises, employment programs, and participant-focused initiatives. You will lead managers and coordinators, drive program quality, monitor outcomes, and guide change across the department.

The role emphasizes people leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and building impactful programs aligned with the organization’s Christian mission.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of managers or supervisors in multi-program settings.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership across Social Impact programs and social enterprises.
• Lead, coach, and develop managers, coordinators, and program leaders.
• Monitor participant outcomes, KPIs, and overall program performance.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen program quality and implement continuous improvements.
• Monitor expenditures and support responsible stewardship of resources.
• Collaborate across departments (Recovery, Food Services, Housing, Development, Finance, People & Culture).
• Build and maintain relationships with employers and community partners.
• Lead the implementation of new initiatives and support change management within the department.

Associate Director of Social Impact

Chilliwack, BC | Full-Time

$80,000–$85,000 annually dependent on experience

Ruth & Naomi’s Mission is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and results-focused Associate Director of Social Impact to provide operational leadership across our growing Social Impact portfolio.

Reporting to the Director of Programming, this role oversees social enterprises, employment programming, the art studio, Food Services, and other participant-focused initiatives designed to create meaningful steps forward. The Associate Director leads managers and coordinators, strengthens program quality and performance, monitors participant outcomes, and helps turn organizational priorities into effective programs and initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Provide day-to-day leadership across Social Impact programs and social enterprises
• Lead, coach, and develop managers, coordinators, and program leaders

What You’ll Bring

• Post-secondary education in Business, Social Enterprise, Nonprofit Leadership, or a related field considered an asset
• Progressive management experience within nonprofit, social enterprise, or for-profit environments
• Demonstrated experience leading managers or supervisors and overseeing multiple programs or functions
• Strong financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development abilities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into action
• Strong problem-solving, systems thinking, and change-management capabilities

Compensation & Benefits
