Job description

“Educating Leaders, Strengthening Community.” Leadership Saskatoon is one of Canada’s longest-running community leadership programs, and we are looking for our next Program Director to lead our organization’s programming and help our organization grow and evolve. As the Program Director, you are responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and growth for all Leadership Saskatoon programming, including the flagship 10-month program as well as a series of lectures and workshops.

Responsibilities

Drawing upon your understanding of adult education, curriculum design and evaluation, facilitation, and group dynamics, you will coordinate and lead a cohort of 25-30 adult participants through their 10-month learning journey. Your ability to build relationships and communicate effectively will enable you to collaborate with facilitators, coaches, mentors, and volunteers to develop, organize, and implement impactful Leadership Saskatoon programming. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines will be essential in planning, promoting, and executing various learning events throughout the September to June program year, exploring both established and trending leadership practices.

Qualifications

This position is home-based, part-time (.6 FTE or 24 hrs/week from August to June), with some flexibility in hours and weeks. It may require evening or weekend work. The role reports directly to the Executive Director. Previous facilitation experience or alumni status with Leadership Saskatoon is an asset but not required.
