Main Purpose and Function
The Program Assistant III works independently or within a team of staff in planning and implementing a component of a program or service area(s) under the direction of a supervisor. This is routine and introductory recreation programming work assisting a Recreation Programmer II in overseeing a segment of a program area.The position coordinates and participates in the operation of seniors and special events, rentals, and monitors activity areas to ensure the program or activities are running smoothly and performs a variety of clerical duties related to the work.
