Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across three Rehabilitation and Recovery Division sites, travelling regularly between program locations in Coquitlam and White Rock to meet operational needs and support staff, clients, and program activities.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and other program documentation, while maintaining organized filing and records management systems.
  • Perform advanced word processing functions, including preparing correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, spreadsheets, statistical reports, and distributing information as required.
  • Act as the first point of contact by answering telephones, responding to inquiries, determining the urgency of calls, and directing them to the appropriate staff member.
  • Welcome clients and visitors, provide program and resource information, and respond to general inquiries in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Compile, prepare, and maintain statistical records and reports to support workload monitoring, program planning, and reporting requirements.

Location: R&R Program (Riverview, Coquitlam, BC)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-4. Unpaid Meal break

Job Summary

Reporting to the Program Managers, the Program Assistant provides administrative support to three sites within the Rehabilitation and Recovery (R&R) Division. This position works across multiple program locations in Coquitlam and White Rock and requires regular travel between sites to support day-to-day operations. The Program Assistant is responsible for a wide range of administrative, scheduling, payroll, and records management functions that support program operations. The role requires sound judgment, initiative, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize competing demands while maintaining confidentiality and providing excellent customer service to staff, clients, community partners, and the public.

Responsibilities

Typical Education, training, and experience
  • Successful completion of Grade 12
  • Office Administration Certificate and/or post-secondary training in office administration and/or a combination of education, experience and training
  • Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Clearance
  • 1 years related experienceWHMIS Certification
  • Priority given to applicants with background in Mental Health and/or related Community Social Services or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience or other qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work.
