Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Professional Senior Engineer for Completion, Cabinets Integration in Dorval, QC. You will act as integrator for cabinet design of Global business aircraft cabins from launch to delivery, integrating cabin furniture and linings.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience; bilingual English and French; ENOVIA/VPM Nav and Catia V5 experience.

• Experience in business aircraft interior completions and knowledge of Global aircraft interiors.

Responsibilities

• Act as an integrator for the cabinet design of Global business aircraft cabins during all engineering phases, from launch to delivery.
• Integrate cabin interior furniture and linings into the cabin.
• Coordinate with client teams, interior design, program, occupant safety, flammability, stress, methods, logistics, etc.
• Collaborate on design reviews, ensuring proper integration of requirements and compliance with certification rules.
• Work with partners and suppliers during the detailed design phases of projects.
• Integrate change requests of various kinds; coordinate technical meetings, analyze and define solutions, and ensure their successful implementation.
• Estimate project effort levels, submit status reports, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Be responsible for the timely delivery of quality technical documentation that meets Bombardier standards.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a bachelor's degree or a college diploma in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or an equivalent, with ten (10) or more years of relevant experience.
• You have good communication skills, both written and oral, in English and French.
• You are well organized and demonstrate excellent project management skills.
• You have experience in business aircraft interior completions.
• You are familiar with the Global aircraft family and interiors integration.
• You have experience working with ENOVIA/VPM Nav and Catia V5.
• You understand product structures and aircraft certification.
• You can understand complex engineering problems and demonstrate creativity and initiative in problem solving.
• You are a motivated individual, a team player, able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
• You have an excellent track record of successfully meeting your commitments.
