Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support conceptual design of derivative and clean sheet aircraft focusing on structural integration and interiors.
• Lead conceptual design activities for primary structural components across configurations.
• Conceptual sizing and safety assessments; multi-disciplinary trade studies.
• Cabin layout conceptualization and integration for new designs according to requirements.
• Assist in developing marketing requirements.
• Systems installations within structural models applying lessons learned.
• Examples include Landing Gear and Engine integration.
• Lead and oversee strategic technology projects; supervise interns.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Support the conceptual design of derivative and clean sheet aircraft with regards to aircraft configuration with a focus on structural integration and interiors.
• Perform structural integration activities at the conceptual design level, such as:
• Conceptual layouts of primary structural components for evolving aircraft design configurations, including clean sheet ideation, derivatives, and modifications to existing products
  • Cabin layout conceptualization and integration for new aircraft designs based on marketing requirements, utilizing good awareness of human factors and certification constraints
  • Assist in the development of marketing requirements
  • Systems installations within the structural models, with the direct application of lessons learned.
  • Examples include: Landing Gear integration, Engine integration etc.
  • Conceptual sizing and safety assessment
  • Multi-disciplinary trade-off studies
• Lead and/or oversight of assigned strategic technology projects.
• Supervise engineering students’ internships
