Qualifications

Job Title: Professional Senior, Engineering, Stress

Responsibilities:
  • Perform stress analyses of Static Strength, Fatigue/Durability, Damage Tolerance, and Finite Element Model (FEM) for metallic and composite structures
  • Prepare official stress reports in English for certification purposes
  • Review engineering drawings and participate in new design processes
  • Support Material Review Board (MRB) duties in operations
  • Contribute to aircraft development projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations teams (Liaison, Design, Materials & Processes, Weights, Project, Systems, Program, etc.)
Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant aerospace industry experience, preferably with an OEM
  • Material Review Board (MRB) experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of Aircraft structural substantiation analysis: Static, Fatigue/Durability, Damage Tolerance
  • Experience with Patran/Nastran, Nasgro, and Catia V5
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
  • Initiative, responsibility, and good engineering judgment
  • Flexibility to work day, evening, or weekends if necessary
  • Bilingual in English and French is a plus
