Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Dorval, QC, Canada seeks a Professional Senior in Engineering, Completion, Cabinets Integration to lead cabin integration from launch to delivery. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure seamless interior integration of furniture and linings.

The role requires 10+ years in aircraft interiors, strong PM skills, and fluency in English and French, with ENOVIA/VPM Nav and Catia V5 experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or college diploma in mechanical or aeronautical engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience in business aircraft interior completions.
• Familiar with ENOVIA/VPM Nav and Catia V5.
• Understanding of product structures and aircraft certification.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Act as an integrator for cabin design during all engineering phases, from launch to delivery.
• Integrate cabin furniture and linings into the cabin.
• Coordinate with client teams, interior design, program, occupant safety, flammability, stress, methods, logistics, etc.
• Collaborate on design reviews, ensuring proper integration of requirements and certification rules.
• Work with partners and suppliers during the detailed design phases of projects.
• Integrate change requests; coordinate technical meetings, analyze solutions and implement them.
• Estimate project effort levels, submit status reports, identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Deliver timely, quality technical documentation that meets Bombardier standards.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Act as an integrator for the cabinet design of Global business aircraft cabins during all engineering phases, from launch to delivery.
• Be responsible for integrating cabin interior furniture and linings into the cabin.
• Take on assignments of varying complexity requiring interaction with multiple areas of expertise (client team, interior design, program, occupant safety, flammability, stress, methods, logistics, etc.)
• Collaborate on design reviews, ensuring proper integration of requirements and compliance with certification rules.
• Work with partners and suppliers during the detailed design phases of projects.
• Integrate change requests of various kinds; coordinate technical meetings, analyze and define solutions, and ensure their successful implementation.
• Estimate project effort levels, submit status reports, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Be responsible for the timely delivery of quality technical documentation that meets Bombardier standards.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a bachelor's degree or a college diploma in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or an equivalent, with ten (10) or more years of relevant experience.
• You have good communication skills, both written and oral, in English and French.
• You are well organized and demonstrate excellent project management skills.
• You have experience in business aircraft interior completions.
• You are familiar with the Global aircraft family and interiors integration.
• You have experience working with ENOVIA/VPM Nav and Catia V5.
• You understand product structures and aircraft certification.
• You can understand complex engineering problems and demonstrate creativity and initiative in problem solving.
• You are a motivated individual, a team player, able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
• You have an excellent track record of successfully meeting your commitments.
