Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Canada is seeking a Professional Senior Engineer in Aircraft Integrator. You will report to the G8000 Head of Aircraft Design and collaborate with platform project managers to ensure high-quality design changes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering and at least 5 years in aerospace engineering, with avionics knowledge and aircraft type certification familiarity as a plus. Bombardier offers hybrid work and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• University Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering, in the context of airplane design.
• Knowledge and experience in avionics systems or other similar electronic systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of aircraft type certification processes and the role of a Design Approval Organization.
• Team player capable of integrating across multiple engineering disciplines to resolve problems.
• Leadership and decision-making capability.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the G8000 Head of Aircraft Design.
• Support the Head of Aircraft Design and the Chief Aircraft Integrator for platform-specific studies, investigations and action plans.
• Collaborate with Platform Project Managers and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high-quality, timely design changes.
• Conduct cross-functional investigations and develop harmonized action plans.
• Assist in establishing aircraft-level requirements (D&O & ARD) for design changes under the Platform purview.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Report directly to the G8000 Head of Aircraft Design

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a University Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
• You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of aerospace engineering, in the context of airplane design
• A plus: you have knowledge and experience in airplanes Avionics System, or other similar electronic systems
• You have knowledge of aircraft type certification process and of the role of a Design Approval Organization
• You are a team player, able to integrate across multiple engineering disciplines to resolve problems
