What are your contributions to the team?

• Evaluate and propose cutting‑edge technological acquisition opportunities for the machining, sheet metal, composite, and assembly sectors, allowing the organization to achieve technological excellence;
• Define the strategy for carrying out its projects: content, scope, resources, deadlines, costs, risks, quality management, communications, and training;
• Manage the activities of the development project phases: feasibility study, project mandate and business plan, acquisition, implementation and production start‑up;
• Manage the budget, schedule, and resources in all phases. Prepare and present progress reports to different levels of management;
• Align the work of the resources involved and be the interface between the different matrix services;
• Manage client expectations and change requests within projects;
• Develop risk management and mitigation plans;
• Participate in problem solving and recovery plans when necessary to meet deadlines for key deliverables;
• Participate in the continuous improvement of our project management processes.

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Automated Production Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or any other relevant experience;
• You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management;
• You possess knowledge of manufacturing processes in the aeronautical industry (Asset);
• You possess assets in human resources management within the framework of matrix project management;
• You hold a PMI certification (asset);
• You have a good analytical mind;
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a great sense of organization;
• You are fluent in French and English both written and spoken;
• You have knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project;
• You are passionate about achieving technological excellence.
