Cascadia Metals is seeking production workers for our Surrey branch. The role runs from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm and involves operating or learning to operate a forklift, unwrapping coils, loading machinery, packaging finished products, and maintaining a tidy work area.

Qualifications

• Punctuality and dependability in factory schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift or be willing to be trained on one.
• Unwrap coils and prepare them for manufacturing.
• Move and load coils onto machinery.
• Wrap and strap finished products.
• Build pallets as needed and assist operators.
• Assist the operator and follow production plans.
• Tag and mark materials as required.
• Strip coils and support the Machine Operator.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area.

Responsibilities:

• Operating a forklift or willing to be trained on one
• Unwrapping the coil and preparing it for manufacturing
• Moving and loading coil onto machinery
• Wrapping and strapping the finished product
• Building pallets when needed
• Assisting the operator as needed
• Tagging and marking required material
• Follow production plans
• Strip the coil and assist the Machine Operator
• Maintaining a clean and orderly environment

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
