Randstad Canada is seeking a Production Worker/General Labourer for our Exeter, Ontario facility. The role offers an afternoon shift from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Mon-Fri, with pay of $23.23 per hour plus a $1.25 per hour shift premium.

This temporary position has the potential for long-term work. You will support production, assist with packaging, operate wrapping machinery, perform basic quality checks, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

Formación

• Experience as a General Labourer or in manufacturing is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Assist machine operators and senior staff with daily production and crating tasks.
• Load trucks, secure skids with wood blocks, pack small parts and trim; use a nail gun for crates.
• Operate wrapping machines and tools including nail guns and saws to build and wrap crates.
• Inspect finished products and report issues to a supervisor for quality control.
• Maintain safety by following procedures and keeping the workspace clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Production: Assist machine operators and senior staff with daily tasks like production and crating.

• Operating Machinery: Operate cardboard wrapping machines and other tools, including nail guns and saws, to build and wrap crates.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and report any issues to a supervisor.
• Maintaining Safety: Follow all safety procedures and keep your workspace clean and organized.
