Job description

We are seeking Production Workers to become an integral part of our team! This opportunity is a permanent full-time position. If you don't have any glass experience, we will train you on everything you need to know on the job - like how to measure and handle glass safely.

We are committed to our employees' safety, and ensuring that every single employee goes home safe at the end of their shift is our utmost priority.

Shifts Available:

Day – 6:30am to 3:00pm
Afternoon – 2:30pm to 11:00pm
Night – 10:30pm to 7:00am

Responsibilities:

  1. Work within a team in various departments in our manufacturing plant
  2. Rotate through tasks for specific production processes
  3. Conduct quality inspections on products and parts
  4. Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  5. Follow safety guidelines
Qualifications:
  1. Using assembly tools and equipment
  2. Ability to handle physical workload
  3. Ability to work well in teams
  4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  5. Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields is an asset

Compensation:
Ranges from $20-$22/hour depending on experience.

We are a custom architectural glass fabrication facility primarily serving local and international markets. We create custom orders to suit various requirements such as glass walls, railings, entrance systems, doors, glass for commercial and residential windows, as well as marine glass applications to name a few. We are located in South Burnaby, close to the 22nd Street and Edmonds sky train stations.

Since 1966, Garibaldi Glass has grown to become the premier source of innovative glass solutions, currently employing over 250 employees working in our 160,000 square foot facility in Burnaby, BC.
