Job summary

VitaminLab in Victoria, BC is seeking experienced Part-Time Production Technicians to join our high-speed, detail-driven manufacturing team. You will manufacture compounded capsules, perform sanitation, follow GMP-like protocols, and help ensure the quality of our personalized vitamin formulas.

Available shifts include Day, Evening, and Weekend options. We value hands-on learners, quick hands, and meticulous workers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and able to follow specific guidelines.
• Have quick hand speed and enjoy working quickly with your hands.
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Able to take initiative and find better ways of doing things.
• Coachable and a quick learner.
• Bonus: understand and have employed USP/GMP procedures or worked in Pharmacy in the past.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture compounded capsules using proper sanitation techniques.
• Proficiency in compounding calculations. (You will possess basic math skills)
• Operate an encapsulation machine (manual).
• Follow appropriate cleaning protocols to ensure no cross-contamination during production.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of finished product prepared by self or others by verifying formulas, technique, and/or performing the final check of supplement.

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Part-Time Production Technicians who have at least two years of experience in food manufacturing, Pharmacy or similar. Previous experience in a highly dextrous, high-speed production environment that requires extreme attention to detail is an asset. You have an understanding of production expectations, you adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards, including cleaning and organizing personal workstations. When cases arise, you help troubleshoot and elevate issues to leadership. You thrive in an environment where hand speed, attention to detail, following protocol, and working efficiently is paramount.

Production Schedule:

We are hiring for Part-Time position(s) in our production facility with availability to work during our Day, Evening and Weekend Shifts

• Day Shift: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday from 6 am - 2:30 pm
• Evening Shift: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday from 3 pm - 11:30 pm
• Weekends Shifts: Saturday 7:30 am - 4 pm or 3 pm - 11:30 pm or Sunday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 3 pm - 11:30 pm

The typical starting base salary range for this position is $19.25/hr CDN .
