Job summary

Fresenius Kabi Canada is hiring three full-time Production Technicians to join our Mississauga team. The on-site role requires five days per week with morning/evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

You will support quality systems, SOPs, GMP practices, and safe manufacturing of IV admixtures while ensuring materials and equipment readiness and line clearance. The position emphasizes teamwork across departments and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution is an asset.
• Post-secondary education in science or related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to corporate, regulatory, and individual responsibilities supporting the Company’s quality management programs, supporting policies, procedures, work instructions, and relevant software (eDMS)
• Adheres to the Company’s commitment to and policy on Code of Conduct
• Adheres to organizational and individual health and safety responsibilities in the workplace
• Adheres to Fresenius Kabi Canada standard operating procedures (SOPs), EHS, corporate (core values), and quality standards.
• Complies with GMP practices.
• Must have the ability to work all shifts (i.e., morning and evening shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays) with an excellent attendance record.
• Participates in and assist with continuous improvement projects and processes.
• Operates and maintains manufacturing equipment safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Utilizes proper pharmacy practices to pick, visually inspect, label and package IV admixtures as per production documents.
• Prepares and decontaminates all production components against production documents.
• Ensures enough supplies are available to meet production demands.
• Ensures all in-process verifications are met to drive compliance and high‑quality standards.
• Responsible for maintaining organization and proper line clearance during all activities throughout the process.
• Ensures that proper handling of waste materials is disposed of as per SOP.
• Participates in inventory counts, process validations, and calibration when applicable.
• Assists with the training of new employees.
• Assists in sterile cleanroom related activities when required.
• Inter­nally there is interaction with staff and management of all local and regional departments, including, but not limited to: Finance, Maintenance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Quality as applicable.

Education

Pharmacy Technician diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution

We are currently seeking three Full-time Production Technicians to join our team!

On-site requirement 5 days/week

Location: 2400 Skymark Avenue, Unit 4, Mississauga, ON, L4W 5K5

The pay rate for this role is $21 per hour.

Placement within the range will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. The final offer will reflect the successful candidate's background and demonstrated capabilities.
