Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Follow health and safety procedures, operational standards, and company values.
  • Operate and monitor automated production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine machine adjustments and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Learn and maintain skills across production areas (steel, injection, saw, packaging, stacker).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues with the team.
  • Ensure product quality by following established standards and procedures.
  • Complete and maintain required production documentation accurately.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process optimizations.
  • Perform other related tasks based on operational needs.

Job summary

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Operator is responsible for operating and supporting the automated production line to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. The Operator will work across different areas of the plant as needed and contribute to the smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Job responsibilities
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, operational standards, and company values;
  • Operate and monitor automated production equipment to ensure optimal performance;
  • Perform routine machine adjustments and basic preventive maintenance;
  • Learn and maintain skills in the production line areas where required (steel, injection, saw , packaging , stacker, etc. );
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues in collaboration with team members;
  • Ensure product quality by following established standards and procedures;
  • Complete and maintain required production documentation accurately;
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process optimizations;
  • Perform other related tasks based on operational needs.
Required training and experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment;
  • Experience operating automated production lines (asset);
  • Forklift driving experience (bi-directional lift experience an asset);
  • Overhead crane experience (asset) .
  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions precisely ;
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively ;
  • Attention to detail and respect for quality standards ;
  • Leadership, autonomy and good work ethic ;
  • Ability to adapt to change and open-mindedness ;
  • A bility to make the right decisions quickly;
  • Able to use a measuring tape and a spectrophotometer;
  • Ability to use workstation computer equipment (HMI);
  • Ability to understand how machines work (logic, mechanics).
