Responsibilities

The Team Leader manages two machine lines per shift, coordinating team members to achieve efficiency. Responsibilities include:

• Reporting to the Production Supervisor and ensuring machinery operates correctly, meeting quality and process standards.
• Directing and coordinating team efforts to meet goals promptly.
• Managing absenteeism and reporting issues.
• Collaborating with Maintenance and Quality Control departments to resolve issues.
• Preparing equipment for production and shutdown, replacing rolls, monitoring parameters, and adjusting settings.
• Reporting malfunctions requiring technician intervention.
• Ensuring GMP and safety standards are followed and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Performing other related duties, including lifting raw materials, verifying quality, and supporting production needs.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience as a machine operator, preferably in food processing.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Team-oriented, able to work under pressure, and capable of managing a team.
• Experience with packaging machines in the food industry is advantageous.
• Ability to work in cold environments and handle loads of 20-40 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards.
