Job summary

CAE is seeking a Production Supervisor in Montreal to lead a manufacturing team building flight simulators. You will oversee daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.

This hands-on role requires coordinating workforce, materials, and processes; driving lean improvements, managing schedules, and supporting employee development in a technology-driven setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of team leadership in manufacturing or production.
  • Experience with production scheduling, workforce planning and performance.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement in manufacturing.
  • Experience in a unionized environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methods.
  • Knowledge of health and safety best practices.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in a complex, technology-driven manufacturing setting.
  • Strong communications skills in French and English.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience managing production schedules, workforceplanningand operational performance
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a unionized environment
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of manufacturing health and safety best practices
  • Strongproficiencywith Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience working in a complex, technology-driven or evolving manufacturing environment
  • Strong communicationskills in both French and English
