Job description

• Perform all duties in a safe manner and follow all rules and regulations.
• Load and/or unload bulk, drummed, toted, or bagged material from company trucks, common carriers, and tankers.
• Properly care for and use all equipment such as forklifts, drum handling equipment, pumps, hoses, etc.
• Secure dual sign-off before transferring any product from one vessel to another.
• Properly use materials such as labels, placards, stenciling, and paint.
• Perform packaging and blending of hazardous/non-hazardous chemicals into proper containers (i.e., tote, drum, bulk).
• Ensure the stock and warehouse facility are maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
• Follow all operating procedures, work instructions, and quality systems in place.
• Report all non-conformances as they occur using proper forms.
• Attend and actively participate in all safety and quality meetings as required.
• Complete all training as required in the Regulatory/Compliance Training Program.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Your Profile

Education and Experience:

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent work experience in the chemical industry, and three years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English. Knowledge of Spanish is helpful.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Forklift and driving experience.
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Ability to supervise/lead others by setting expectations, monitoring performance, coaching, and holding employees accountable.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
