Overview

The functional reporting for the Production Scheduler role will be to the VP, Supply Planning and Optimization. The bakery crew, including receivers, cycle counters, and line shippers, will support this position in their respective responsibilities outlined below.

Job Location: 5345 - 275th Street, Langley, BC

Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000 annually

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule bakery production based on guidelines from the central planning team
  • Conduct cycle counts of all raw materials and packaging items at least once per period
  • Improve inventory accuracy to 98%+ for FG, SFG, RM, and PM
  • Monitor expiring materials and coordinate with the Central Planning team for the “Run Out” plan
  • Address finished goods discrepancies between ELM and SAP
  • Escalate chronic issues such as material discrepancies and process discrepancies to the Central Planning team
  • Assist the Supply Planning CI team in visibility on PPW generated by the bakery
  • Ensure accurate reporting of mixes and FG production numbers, escalating discrepancies to the bakery manager

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Materials Management, Business, Operations Management, or equivalent
  • Bright, driven, and clear about career goals
  • Ability to learn quickly, ambitious, and innovative
  • Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication skills, and basic mathematical abilities
