Job description

Production Operators

Our client, a successful mid-sized manufacturing company in Brockville, is hiring for Packaging and Floor Operator roles. This global company specializes in converting oil and biomass into cleaner fuels. Positions report to a Crew Supervisor.

Core Responsibilities:
  1. Perform packaging functions such as filling, marking, labeling, banding, and packing containers.
  2. Monitor equipment using control panels.
  3. Clean and lubricate machinery.
  4. Feed products to conveyors and upload packaging materials.
  5. Adjust equipment to ensure a consistent flow of materials.
  6. Inspect materials, products, and containers throughout the packaging process.
  7. Weigh filled containers and sort bundles.
  8. Wrap protective material around products.
  9. Sort bundles, seal, and label containers.
  10. Maintain accurate records of materials processed.
  11. Replenish packaging supplies.
  12. Operate lift trucks and hand trucks safely to move finished products.
  13. Support a collaborative and expanding team environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Valid driver’s license and forklift certification

If you're interested in joining a successful team with a collaborative culture, on-the-job training is provided. Shifts are 12 hours, rotating every two weeks.
