Job summary

Jobtailor in Saint-Eustache, QC, is seeking a Production Operator to operate sieving machines, mixers, and gas separators to produce high‑quality metal powders and document production steps.

You will perform packaging, labeling, and boxing, prepare units for processing, diagnose quality issues, and ensure compliance with the QA system. Clean the workstation after each shift and handle weekly waste disposal.

French proficiency and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks are required.

Qualifications

• Capable of operating production equipment and following QA standards.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
• Able to read basic math and maintain production documents.

Responsibilities

• Operate sieving machines, mixer, gas separator, and antistatic equipment.
• Carry out packaging tasks: labeling and boxing products.
• Record production data at each workstation.

Job description

• Operate automatic sieving machines: identify containers, analyze results, and change and clean sieves


• Operate the mixer


• Operate the gas separator


• Operate the antistatic treatment equipment


• Perform packaging tasks: filling containers, labeling, and boxing


• Complete production documentation at each workstation


• Prepare and operate production units for metal powders


• Participate in diagnosing issues related to poor metal powder quality


• Follow the quality assurance system


• Clean the workstation after every shift


• Empty garbage bins once a week

Requirements

• Able to handle loads of approximately 45 lb (maximum 22 kg)


• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks


• Able to work sitting and/or standing


• French required


• Basic mathematical skills
