SOPREMA Canada is seeking a Machine Operator at our Paris, Ontario facility. Under supervision, you will oversee manufacturing processes to meet quality and quantity requirements, drive productivity, and maintain safe operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on machine operation experience in manufacturing, proficiency with ERP systems, and a strong eye for detail. On-site work with competitive benefits and team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Machine Operator.
• Experience in manufacturing and ERP systems is an asset.
• Knowledge of machine controls and automation is preferred.
• French language knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Drive the manufacturing process and correct defects to ensure productivity.
• Perform equipment inspections and routine cleaning.
• Adjust equipment to meet specifications and verify product quality.
• Enter production data into ERP and other management systems.

WORK LOCATION: 21 Scott Ave, Paris

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4h30 p.m.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 years

RATE: $26,42/hour

START DATE: As soon as possible

Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Machine Operator oversees the smooth running of the manufacturing process to produce according to the company's quality and quantity requirements.

THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU

• Drive the manufacturing process, correct defects and ensure productivity.
• Perform equipment inspections and cleaning according to procedures.
• Adjust equipment to meet specifications.
• Verify product quality according to established standards.
• Enter production data into computerized management systems.
• Perform first-level maintenance tasks.
• Ensure proper communication and transition of information between teams.
• Suggest measures to improve production activities and occupational health and safety.
• Perform any other related tasks as assigned

THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Your Education :

• High school diploma.

Your Experience :

• Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Machine Operator.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in a Team Leader position (An asset).

Your Knowledge and Competencies:

• Knowledge of machine controls and automation.
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance (An asset).
• Experience in reporting results, working with the ERP system (An asset).
• Knowledge of the French language (An asset).
