CGC Inc. is currently recruiting a Production Operator on #3 Board Line for our manufacturing facility in Hagersville, ON! This is a full-time, permanent position working a rotating shift schedule in a continuous operation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operates production equipment, including troubleshooting and making the necessary adjustments to ensure product and quality specifications are met.
- Records production data and other results in the manner required.
- Performs basic maintenance tasks to help service equipment.
- Takes an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
- Adapts to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is nice to have but not required; we provide all training needed for success in the role.
- High school diploma required
- Able to follow verbal and written work instructions, use basic hand tools and proficiency in basic computer use.
- Strong desire to learn and work as part of a collaborative, respectful team
- Show leadership, time management, communication and problem-solving skills
- Track record of great work performance, attendance, and safety behaviors.
