Job Description

IKO Industries Ltd. is looking to fill a full-time Production Operator position at our Hamilton – Victoria location. The Production Operator will report to the Operations Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor loading and off-loading activities of trucks and barges
  • Maintain and inspect equipment
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections
  • Open and close valves to facilitate loading and off-loading activities
  • Use computer system for scaling in trucks
  • General housekeeping and upkeep of site
  • Adhere to all work processes and procedures, including safety protocols
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school graduate
  • Able to work rotational shifts (weekdays and weekends) and on-call rotation
  • Experience working in an industrial setting, construction, or similar industry preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
