Musashi Auto Parts in Arthur, Ontario is hiring for a full-time Production Manager in our Aluminum Arm Department. Reporting to the Plant Manager, Plant 1, the Aluminum Arm Production Manager oversees production and quality to meet targets—customer claim, reject, PPHL, and safety.

  • Good attendance and quality records.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver operational business plan and KPI reports.
  • Develop and implement plans to efficiently use materials, labour and equipment to meet production goals.
  • Collect and analyze production parts/rejects, downtime data, and production data to identify factors affecting efficiency.
  • Plan, oversee, and coordinate all related operations—methods, procedures, schedules and related production functions.
  • Complete reports on production, such as rejects and customer claims, and safety.
  • Check daily check sheets for each line; ensure sign-off by Team/Sub Leader.
  • Complete End of Shift Reviews daily.
  • Ensure countermeasures are passed down to associates and team leaders for quality parts.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Musashi Auto Parts in Arthur, Ontario is hiring for a full-time Production Manager in our Aluminum Arm Department. Reporting to the Plant Manager, Plant 1, the Aluminum Arm Production Manager oversees production and quality in the specified area of production to ensure that all production areas meet the required targets - customer claim, reject, PPHL, and safety. The Production Manager is responsible for supervising all team leaders and production associates to ensure confidence and competency in their duties.

Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Business Administration; and/or 5+ years' experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Good attendance and quality records.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver operational business plan and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports.
  • Develop and implement plans to efficiently use materials, labour and equipment to meet production goals.
  • Collect and analyze production parts/rejects, machine downtime data, and production data to identify and adjust critical factors affecting machine operation and efficiencies.
  • Plan, oversee, and coordinate all related operations - operating methods and procedures, production schedules, and all other related production functions.
  • Complete the necessary reports on all aspects of production, such as: Rejects and Customer Claims, Go Manning, Associate Reviews and Safety.
  • Check all daily check sheets for each line are filled out correctly and completely and Team/Sub Leader has signed off.
  • Complete End of Shift Reviews on a daily basis.
  • Ensure all countermeasures are being passed down to associates and team leaders to ensure a quality part is made.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
