Winnipeg Jewish Theatre is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee all technical aspects of our season, including set, lighting, sound, and stage management. The role blends leadership with hands-on coordination across design teams, staff, and vendors.
The ideal candidate will manage schedules and budgets, ensure safety standards, and collaborate with the Artistic and Managing Directors to bring WJT productions to life. Some travel around Winnipeg is required.
Position: Full-time, 35-40 hours per week
Location: Hybrid, some days remote with regular travel around Winnipeg and required on-site presence at the performance venue during productions, technical rehearsals, and meetings

Winnipeg Jewish Theatre is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and hands-on Production Manager to oversee the technical production of our season, including set, lighting, sound, and stage management departments.
Working closely with the Artistic & Managing Director and the Company Manager, the Production Manager is responsible for planning and executing all technical elements of WJT productions, from pre-production through strike. This includes coordinating design teams, hiring and supervising technical and production staff, managing production schedules and budgets, and ensuring a safe, well-run production process from first rehearsal to closing night.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technical theatre professional who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys leading a production team, and is excited to help bring the stories of a small, collaborative arts organization to life.
