Job summary

Penta Equipment is seeking a General Labourer for our afternoon shift in the cutting department. The role involves unloading parts from plasma and laser cutting tables, loading steel sheets, and keeping the work area organized and safe.

You will work with machine operators to ensure smooth production flow, with a four-day work week and Fridays to Sundays off, and enjoy premiums for the afternoon shift and benefits as part of a full-time manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Support production to ensure continuous cutting operations.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a General Labourer to join our afternoon shift in our cutting department.

Monday – Thursday | 2:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.

Working as part of our plasma and laser cutting team, you'll help keep production moving by ensuring materials flow safely and efficiently through the cutting process. This role is responsible for unloading finished parts from our plasma and laser tables, removing scrap skeletons, loading new steel sheets for processing, and staging cut parts for the next step in production.

This is a physically active, hands‑on position where you'll spend your shift moving materials, working alongside machine operators, and contributing directly to production output.

Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, farming, warehousing, or another physically active environment is considered an asset, but we're willing to train the right person.
