Job summary

Northern Mat & Bridge is seeking a Production Labourer to join our Mat Plant Operations team. You will support the production of access mats in a manufacturing environment, helping ensure quality products while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient worksite.

Starting wage is 20.05 CAD/hour, with a raise to 20.55 CAD/hour after three months. This is a full-time, long-term employment opportunity with company-provided tools. A safety-conscious team environment and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous physical labour experience is required.
• Lumber or manufacturing industry experience is considered an asset.
• Experience operating power tools and equipment is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and schedule.

Responsibilities

Production & Execution

• Keep up with the production line to meet operational targets
• Complete finishing tasks accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform general labour duties related to mat production

Safety & Worksite Maintenance

• Work with the supervisor to maintain an orderly and safe worksite
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas

Equipment Operation

• Operate power tools and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Support basic equipment upkeep and report issues as required

Experience
