Job summary

Great Northern Insulation Inc. in Saskatoon, SK is hiring full-time General Labourers to support insulation projects across indoor/outdoor sites. You will help with attic and wall insulation, install fiberglass batts, and perform site cleanup.

This role requires flexibility for early starts (as early as 6am), occasional weekends, ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, and good teamwork. Training is provided and safety PPE is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, drywall, or insulation a asset
• Must have Class 5 driver's license with clear abstract
• Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces
• Strong teamwork and good time management skills
• Willing to work OT and weekends when needed
• Basic reading, writing and math skills

Responsibilities

• Help insulate attics, walls and other areas using fiberglass batts
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time
• Load/unload materials and equipment; site cleanup
• Work Mon-Fri with possible weekends; start as early as 6am
• Work indoors and outdoors; in confined spaces and at heights
• Use of common handheld power tools

Great Northern Insulation is currently recruiting for full-time General Labourers for our Saskatoon, SKlocation!

What you offer:

• Experience with drywall, taping, roofing, landscaping, construction, or insulation an asset
• Ability to work in different environmental conditions (indoors/ outdoors, hot/ cold)
• Class 5 Driver's license with a clear driver's abstract
• Must be comfortable working at heights and tight spaces
• Proven ability to work effectively as a team
• Proven time management, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work OT and weekends when needed
• Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills

Standard Job Duties:

• Help with the insulation of attics, walls, and other areas using materials such as fiberglass batts
• Duties also include accurate and on-time completion of paperwork, loading/unloading materials and equipment, job site clean-up, and various maintenance tasks as needed
• Ability to work Mon-Fri (occasional weekends), start time as early as 6am with flexible end times
• Installers work in pairs on a variety of job sites
• Work both indoors and outdoors
• Work can occur in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces
• Working at heights
• Standing, bending, lifting and ladder use
• Wearing PPE such as safety boots, safety glasses, gloves, masks/respirators, and overalls
• Use of common handheld power tools.
