Job summary

Gerdau in Selkirk, Manitoba is seeking workers to join our manufacturing team for 12-hour shift rotations on a continental schedule. You will work about 40–42 hours weekly at a pay rate of 38.07 CAD per hour and have opportunities to learn senior roles within the department.

Ideal candidates bring manufacturing experience, teamwork, reliable communication, and strong math and detail-oriented skills. Physical labour and outdoor exposure are expected, with benefits including health and retirement

Qualifications

• This position requires physical labour, standing all day and being exposed to outside temperatures.
• Experience working in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience working with mobile equipment.
• Ability to operate an overhead crane would be considered an asset.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Minimum Grade 12 diploma (or GED).
• Possesses excellent communication and strong math skills, with high attention to detail and a good work ethic.
