Job summary

eurOptimum is seeking a Production Graphic Designer to join our downtown Toronto team. This role focuses on creating production-ready artwork for interior signage and display systems, coordinating with clients and production specialists to ensure accurate, print-ready designs.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in graphic design, strong typography, and proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. A post-secondary Graphic Design program is required, with a keen eye for detail and ability to

Qualifications

• Completion of a post-secondary program in Graphic Design is required.
• 0
• Minimum 2+ years in graphic design with large-scale print and environmental graphics advantageous.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Ability to produce detailed technical drawings, layouts and pre-press files on time.
• Strong typography and design sensibilities with portfolio of work.

Responsibilities

• Consult with internal clients and production specialists to establish the look and product requirements.
• Build production-ready and print-ready artwork.
• Conceptualize and execute design concepts across projects and oversee them to completion.
• Make content and design edits as directed by Project Coordinator/Manager.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings, specifications and guidelines for production.
• Produce layouts of architectural hardware, signage, and fixtures.
• Use client-supplied images and typography guides to meet needs.
• Make corrections to photos where necessary.
• Utilize software skills as required to add value.
• Manage stakeholder expectations by adhering to schedules for review and production.
• Consult with engineers and production staff during fabrication.
