Job summary

eurOptimum is seeking a Production Graphic Designer to join our downtown Toronto team. This role focuses on creating production-ready artwork for interior signage and display systems, coordinating with clients and production specialists to ensure accurate, print-ready designs.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in graphic design, strong typography, and proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. A post-secondary Graphic Design program is required, with a keen eye for detail and ability to

Qualifications

Completion of a post-secondary program in Graphic Design is required.

Minimum 2+ years in graphic design with large-scale print and environmental graphics advantageous.
Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
Ability to produce detailed technical drawings, layouts and pre-press files on time.
Strong typography and design sensibilities with portfolio of work.

Responsibilities

Consult with internal clients and production specialists to establish the look and product requirements.
Build production-ready and print-ready artwork.
Conceptualize and execute design concepts across projects and oversee them to completion.
Make content and design edits as directed by Project Coordinator/Manager.
Prepare manufacturing drawings, specifications and guidelines for production.
Produce layouts of architectural hardware, signage, and fixtures.
Use client-supplied images and typography guides to meet needs.
Make corrections to photos where necessary.
Utilize software skills as required to add value.
Manage stakeholder expectations by adhering to schedules for review and production.
Consult with engineers and production staff during fabrication.
