Job summary

m&h, based in Montréal and Toronto, is seeking a passionate graphic designer who can support our evolving clients and team. The ideal candidate is determined, motivated and highly skilled at editing and processing images, adapting client concepts and preparing final deliverables.

You will create iterations of mock-ups and layouts, supervise the graphic production process end-to-end for printing, and collaborate with project managers, retouchers, proofreaders and copywriters to ensure on-brand

Qualifications

• You have a college diploma or university degree in graphic design or equivalent.
• You have at least five years of experience in a similar position.
• Mastery of the Adobe CS5-6 suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
• Excellent knowledge of typography rules.
• Strong knowledge of four-colour and prepress processes.
• Good organizational skills, rigour and agility.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• Proactive, independent and versatile.
• Good communication skills and team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Creating iterations of mock-ups and layouts of marketing documents.
• Carrying out all steps of the graphic production process and ensuring consistency and adherence to the client’s graphic guidelines.
• Collaborating with internal teams (i.e., project managers, retouchers, proofreaders and copywriters).
• Overseeing project progression from beginning to end, i.e., from brief to final delivery for printing.
• Creating and maintaining a trusted relationship with the client.
