A Production/Manufacturing Wood Framer will be responsible for the production and assembly of prefabricated wood framing components in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in wood framing, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assemble Prefabricated Components: Build prefabricated wood framing components (such as walls, floors, and roof sections) in a controlled factory environment according to design specifications.
  • Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, manufacturing drawings, and technical documentation to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Operate Machinery: Use automated and manual machinery, such as saws, nail guns, and presses, to cut, shape, and assemble wood components.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect assembled components for defects or inconsistencies, ensuring all pieces meet production and quality standards.
  • Follow Production Schedules: Meet daily and weekly production targets while maintaining precision and attention to detail.
  • Material Handling: Measure, cut, and handle wood materials efficiently to minimize waste during the assembly process.
  • Maintain Equipment and Workspace: Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of tools, machinery, and workstations to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with production team members, supervisors, and quality assurance personnel to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
  • Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of machinery.

Qualifications:
