Job summary

Stelpro, Inc. is seeking a Production Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and support new product development across sites. You will lead improvement projects, advance state-of-the-art equipment implementations, and collaborate with production, quality, safety, purchasing, and engineering teams.

You will diagnose issues, analyze processes, and drive continuous improvement through Lean methods while coordinating with international partners and suppliers for scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Lean methods (Kaizen, SMED, 6S) to improve productivity and safety.
• Strong ability to diagnose and solve manufacturing issues in a production environment.
• Ability to lead cross-functional improvement projects across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose manufacturing, layout, or work-method issues and recommend improvements.
• Analyze and optimize processes to boost productivity, quality, and safety.
• Participate in equipment acquisitions, ROI analyses, and capacity assessments.
• Collaborate with suppliers and equipment manufacturers on technical solutions.
• Lead automation and cell-layout projects from analysis through commissioning.
• Promote Lean initiatives and continuous improvement through Kaizen and Ishikawa.
• Contribute to new product development by defining optimal manufacturing strategies.
• Improve reliability of production equipment, tools, and components.
• Serve as a technical advisor to production teams on processes and performance.

Being a ProductionEngineer with us means playing a key role in improving productivity,supporting new product development, and implementing innovative technologies.You will contribute directly to the performance of our manufacturing operationswhile collaborating with production, quality, health and safety, purchasing,and engineering teams.

As a ProductionEngineer, you will leverage your manufacturing expertise to optimizeprocesses, lead improvement projects, and support the implementation ofstate-of-the-art equipment. You will also have the opportunity to collaborateon multi-site projects across Innovair Solutions.

On adaily basis, you will:

• Diagnose manufacturing, layout,or work method issues and recommend sustainable improvement solutions;
• Analyze, optimize, and developmanufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and safety;
• Participate in the acquisitionof new equipment and technologies, including feasibility studies, ROIanalyses, specifications development, and capacity assessments;
• Meet and collaborate withsuppliers and equipment manufacturers to identify the best technicalsolutions for the organization;
• Lead automation, equipmentimprovement, and production cell layout projects from initial analysisthrough commissioning;
• Actively participate incontinuous improvement projects and facilitate Kaizen, SMED, Ishikawa, 6S,and other Lean initiatives;
• Contribute to new productdevelopment by defining optimal manufacturing strategies;
• Improve the reliability ofproduction equipment, tools, and components;
• Act as a technical advisor toproduction teams on manufacturing processes and performance improvement;
• Participate in strategicmanufacturing projects that may involve multiple Innovair productionsites;
• Collaborate with internationalpartners, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers on large-scale projects;
• Promote best practices inoccupational health and safety and act as a change agent within theorganization;
• Foster effective communicationbetween departments.
