Job summary

Norsat International Inc. is seeking a Production Engineer to manage the transfer of new products from development to production.

You will collaborate with the Production and Engineering teams to troubleshoot issues along the manufacturing process and ensure changes are reviewed and approved. The role focuses on optimizing procedures, completing first article inspections, initiating engineering change orders, and supporting continuous improvements in cost and time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Technology required.
• 3 years of experience with high frequency/RF testing preferred.
• Experience with production systems, including MRP and ECOs.
• Exposure to ISO 90001 manufacturing standards, production documentation, mechanical and electrical assemblies, electrical components, and ESD control.
• Understanding and experience in Lean Manufacturing is an asset.
