The Production Engineer plays a crucial role within the manufacturing team, over seeing daily operations of the engineering MOD and development of products.

This position also involves delivering technical support and service to customers. The ideal candidate will maintain lab equipment, uphold safety standards, and collaborate with diverse teams to offer comprehensive product support.

This role demands a strong technical background, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality products and customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to products and services
• Operate and maintain test equipment to analyze light fixtures and electronic components
• Write technical reports, specifications, control schedules, and ensure compliance with lab standards
• Conduct and oversee various tests to verify product performance and safety
• Inspect and evaluate incoming components for quality and specifications
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Commercial teams, perform other related duties as assigned by management

Education:

• Relevant post secondary experience (Electrical Engineering) is required

Qualifications:

• Proficient computer skills with MS Office and SolidWorks
• Knowledge of various lighting controls such as DMX, DALI, Lutron, Casambi is an asset

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering experience

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong desire to contribute to the team effort

Base Salary:$60,000+ per year

• Salary based on experience and qualifications
• Full benefits package

Work Hours:

• 40 hours per week

• This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
