Who We Are

Canadian Linen & Uniform Service Corp., a Vestis company, provides uniforms and related products to over 300,000 customers across North America, in nearly every industry. The Role

The ideal candidate will be cross-trained to perform various tasks, including receiving and sorting laundry, inspecting garments for mending needs, operating equipment such as dryers and ironers, and bundling clean garments for redistribution to customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Work safely and efficiently in assigned production areas as scheduled.
  • Assist teammates with duties like supplying materials, cleaning work areas, and equipment maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work assigned shifts; attendance is required.
  • Basic math reasoning skills.
  • Lifting ability of 25-50 pounds continuously; push/pull capacity of up to 150 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for 8-10 hours daily.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with variable temperatures and noise levels, while adhering to safety standards.
  • Understanding work instructions in English is preferred.
Experience:
  • Previous experience in industrial laundry or production environments is preferred.
Departments and Duties

Roles emphasize quality workmanship, teamwork, and regular attendance, including:

  • Soil Operations: Receiving, scanning, inspecting, and sorting soiled garments.
  • Dry Fold: Inspecting and folding or bagging clean products.
  • Garments: Sorting and processing garments per requirements.
  • Mending: Performing sewing repairs on garments.
  • Mat: Rolling and storing mats, fulfilling orders.
  • Iron Operations: Inspecting and ironing products.
  • Bundling: Counting, bundling, and loading finished products for delivery.
  • Wash Aisle: Operating equipment, monitoring quality, and following schedules.
