This is an established leadership role at Clarius Mobile Health and includes a planned transition period. The successful candidate will work closely with the outgoing Director to ensure a smooth transition of knowledge and a seamless handover, before assuming full ownership of the function.

You will lead a well‑established, high‑performing team of nearly 30 people across Manufacturing Technicians, Shipping and Receiving, Inventory Control, and Manufacturing Engineering. While Clarius operates with a scale‑up mindset, our manufacturing floor runs at an exceptionally high standard and is highly process‑driven. This role is best suited to someone with high personal standards who enjoys operating in an environment of operational excellence and is comfortable leading teams where strong processes, quality discipline, and consistency are already well established.

  • Resolve work and equipment problems by observing processes and monitoring production data; recommend measures to improve productivity, product quality, and reduce costs.
  • Monitor production schedules, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet business commitments.
Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal quality systems (ISO 13485, FDA, Health Canada, or other applicable).
  • Partner with Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues and support product launches.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for process deviations or non‑conformances.
Process Improvement & Technology
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, technology adoption, and process improvements.
  • Develop and track KPIs to measure operational success.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to align production plans with material availability, cost targets, and operational budgets.
  • Partner with HR on workforce planning, training, and employee engagement within production.
