Summary:
The Production Data Analyst Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the production team by gathering, analyzing, and ensuring data accuracy, as well as reporting key performance metrics. Provides strategic planning and supports organizational goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service. This position requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a meticulous approach to data management and compliance monitoring.
Essential Duties & Job Responsibilities:
- Organize and present daily production performance data to the leadership team by providing insight on company KPls ( Production yields, Plan Attainment, Processing Rate, Labor Cost, etc.)
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement to ensure that KPI targets are being met
- Provide regular reports to upper management on key production metrics, highlighting trends, identifying areas for improvement, and providing actionable insights.
- Proactively gather production data from team members, including insight on Processing Bottle Necks, Production Processing Rates, and Raw quality Information. Process this data using advanced Excel functions (Nested IF Statements, SUMIFS with Dynamic Criteria, etc.) to generate insightful reports and metrics.
- Navigate through the ERP System and ensure Quantities Schedueld / Consumed & Outputted correlate with the Production Report. Update as needed
- Work closely with the Administration team on Data Integrity and troubleshoot systematic issues.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a relevant field preferred
- 2-3 years of related work experience is strongly preferred
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
- Tech-Savvy, Proficient with Data Analytics; High Proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite (Especially with Excel); Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics NAV & Business Central
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of plant equipment and safety
- Demonstrate full knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices policies and procedures
