Job summary

Aversan Inc. is seeking a Production Coordinator II to join our team in St-Laurent, QC. You will plan production, support on-time delivery, and coordinate work with production in accordance with cell policies.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, at least three years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and bilingual (French and English). Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and ERP systems is preferred, with Oracle familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Understand interdependencies within the manufacturing environment and with other groups.
  • Identify and optimize cell bottlenecks to meet the production plan on schedule.
  • Monitor scheduling plans daily and adjust as needed.
  • Serve as a resource for customer service, engineering, PM and manufacturing cells.
  • Recommend staffing adjustments based on workload vs capacity.
  • Analyze material availability and coordinate with purchasing to mitigate impact on the production plan.
  • Update master plan with new requirements and changes.
  • Work with engineering and project planners to meet deadlines.
  • Promote clear communication and follow-ups.

Production Coordinator

Aversan Inc. ( www.aversan.com ) is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace, defence, and space industries.

We are currently seeking a qualified Production Coordinator II to join our team. The Production Coordinator II role is responsible for planning production, support relating to on-time delivery and coordinating the organization of work in collaboration with production and in accordance with cell policies and procedures.

Working Arrangemen t: Onsite 5 days

Responsibilities
  • Understand the interdependencies within the manufacturing environment itself as well as those with other groups.
  • Identify/optimize cell bottlenecks to ensure adherence to the overall production plan on schedule.
  • Perform daily monitoring of scheduling plans and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Act as a resource person for customer service, engineering, project management and manufacturing cells.
  • Make recommendations for staff adjustments or leveling of production according to the horizontal plan (workload vs capacity).
  • Analyze the availability of material inputs in order to adjust the workload release plan accordingly and collaborate with the purchasing department to mitigate the impacts on the production plan.
  • Analyze the new requirements of the master plan and make necessary changes.
  • Work closely with engineering groups and project planners to meet deadlines.
  • Promote clear communication between the parties and ensure follow-ups.
Basic Qualifications
  • A relevant bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or administration
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience or training in the field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify problems, gather information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to understand the different assembly sequences and identify bottlenecks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Team player and good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different groups, colleagues, and internal clients.
  • Ability to provide support to clients and clearly present information to various stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of the Mircrosoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Bilingulism (French and English) required.
  • Ability to generate reports from databases using SQL, VBA, Power Query (M language), Power Bi (not required, but an asset).
  • Familiarity with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, preferably Oracle.

Compensation:$80,000 – $90,000 CAD
