Job summary

Aversan Inc. is seeking a qualified Production Coordinator II to join our team in St-Laurent, QC.

The role focuses on planning production, supporting on-time delivery, and coordinating work with production, in line with cell policies and procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring scheduling plans, addressing bottlenecks, collaborating with engineering and purchasing, and ensuring clear communication across teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or administration.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience or training in the field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify problems, gather information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to understand the different assembly sequences and identify bottlenecks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Team player and good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different groups, colleagues, and internal clients.
  • Ability to provide support to clients and clearly present information to various stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) required.
  • Ability to generate reports from databases using SQL, VBA, Power Query (M language), Power BI (not required, but an asset).
  • Familiarity with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, preferably Oracle.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the interdependencies within the manufacturing environment itself as well as those with other groups.
  • Identify/optimize cell bottlenecks to ensure adherence to the overall production plan on schedule.
  • Perform daily monitoring of scheduling plans and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Act as a resource person for customer service, engineering, project management and manufacturing cells.
  • Make recommendations for staff adjustments or leveling of production according to the horizontal plan (workload vs capacity).
  • Analyze the availability of material inputs in order to adjust the workload release plan accordingly and collaborate with the purchasing department to mitigate the impacts on the production plan.
  • Analyze the new requirements of the master plan and make necessary changes.
  • Work closely with engineering groups and project planners to meet deadlines.
  • Promote clear communication between the parties and ensure follow-ups.

Production Coordinator

We are currently seeking a qualified Production Coordinator II to join our team. The Production Coordinator II role is responsible for planning production, support relating to on-time delivery and coordinating the organization of work in collaboration with production and in accordance with cell policies and procedures.
