ROCK OF AGES CANADA INC. is seeking a production coordinator to organize and oversee operational logistics at our Quebec site.

You will read blueprints and production drawings, plan production runs, track work orders, and coordinate with warehouse and production units to maintain inventory and schedule. The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a College/CEGEP level education or equivalent, and proficiency with ERP systems, MS Office, and inventory control software.

• Revise type and quantity of materials required sent for production, construction and other projects
• Track and complete work orders
• Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
• Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
• Read blueprints, written specifications and production drawings
• Prepare and submit reports
• Maintain work records and logs
• Perform general office duties
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units
• Co-ordinate traffic flow of supplies
• Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
• Estimate type and quantity of materials and labour required for production, construction and other projects
• Monitor production progress
• Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
• Project management
• Co-ordinate, assign and review work
• Follow-up on issues with work orders
• Organize and maintain inventory
