Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5+ years of dedicated experience in multi-camera broadcast environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of technical and aesthetic standards for national/international broadcasters.
  • Exceptional intercom/headset discipline; listen to director commands while executing camera movements.
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Live & Live-to-Tape execution: operate high-end broadcast cameras in studio or remote environments.
  • Direction on the Fly: execute framing, tracking, and composition changes based on real-time cues.
  • Technical Readiness: perform pre-show camera checks, align zoom/focus, troubleshoot configurations.
  • Setup and Strike: comfortable with fiber and multiple camera bodies.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced per occasion Production Camera Operator to join our crew for upcoming multi-cam, live-to-tape, and live broadcast productions. This isn’t a role for beginners, we need a true broadcast professional who speaks the language of a control room, thrives under the pressure of a live tally light, and can deliver flawless, dynamic shots on demand. If you have a proven track record delivering the gold-standard quality expected by major networks we want you on our roster.

Key Responsibilities
  • Live & Live-to-Tape Execution: Operate high-end broadcast cameras (F5500) in a fast-paced, multi-cam studio or remote environment.
  • Direction on the Fly: Seamlessly execute complex framing, tracking, and composition changes based on real-time cues from the Director and Technical Director.
  • Technical Readiness: Perform pre-show camera checks, align zoom/focus controls, manage framing, and troubleshoot basic camera configurations.
  • Setup and Strike: Comfortable with running fiber, building different camera bodies, etc
Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Adaptability: Ability to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays based on production schedules.
Preferred Specialties

While we are seeking an exceptional all-around studio operator, heavy preference will be given to candidates with verified expertise in one or more of the following: Pedestal, Jimmy Jib & Steadicam.
