Job summary

Daiya Foods is hiring Production Associates to join our day-to-day operations in a full-time PM shift. You will support production flow, ensure product quality, and help meet operational goals in a fast-paced environment. The role requires packaging, line feeding, and equipment setup tasks.

We offer a 40-hour work week on Monday–Friday with potential overtime. The position includes working in a cool environment and lifting up to 50 lbs, with emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
  • Experience in packaging and/or a manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Able to work well on a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a dedication to quality and safety.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work in a cold environment (2°C) and stand on your feet for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Complete packaging assignments, paperwork and feeding machines/lines as assigned
  • Assist with set up and changeover of packaging machines and inputting information into equipment
  • Retrieve raw materials from cooler and add product and packaging to machine
  • Assemble, pack, and label boxes and load onto a pallet; transfer full pallet to cooler using a pallet jack
  • Complete paperwork for production and quality checks
  • Ensure quality of products and packaging meet Company Standards by confirming weight, performing line checks, and communicating with other departments and informing them of deficiencies
  • Complete other duties as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned

SUMMARY

Our Production Associate is an essential member of our team, contributing directly to the achievement of business objectives through the efficient and safe execution of various production tasks. This role involves packaging, line inspection, and the maintenance of production equipment and assemblies to ensure smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.

SHIFT TIME

We are seeking to hireProduction Associates to support our day-to-day operations. These team members will play a key role in maintaining production flow, ensuring product quality, and meeting operational goals in a fast-paced environment.This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), scheduled Monday - Friday, with the possibility of overtime based on business needs.

  • This position is scheduled for the PM shift (2:45 PM – 11:15 PM).
SALARY
  • $20.25/per hour
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Complete packaging assignments, paperwork and feeding machines/lines as assigned
  • Assist with set up and changeover of packaging machines and inputting information into equipment
  • Retrieve raw materials from cooler and add product and packaging to machine

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in packaging and/or a manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Able to work well on a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a dedication to quality and safety
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a cold environment (2°C) and stand on your feet for an extended time
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, and twisting while transferring product
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills
