Job summary

Truline Truss in Creston, BC is seeking a reliable Part-Time Production Assembler to join our award-winning team. You will assist in assembling roof trusses, floor trusses, and engineered wood products while upholding safety and quality.

Key duties include setting up workstations, following instructions from the Team Leader, inspecting materials, operating hand tools, and keeping a clean, safe workspace. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and good English communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use a hammer accurately.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble roof trusses, floor trusses, and engineered wood products to company standards.
• Set up workstations and follow Team Leader instructions.
• Inspect materials and finished work for quality.
• Safely operate hand tools and production equipment.
• Keep a clean, organized work area in line with safety standards.
• Collaborate with the production team and perform other duties as assigned.

As part of our production team, you will assist in the assembly of roof trusses, floor trusses, and engineered wood products while contributing to a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble roof trusses, floor trusses, and engineered wood products according to company procedures.
• Set up workstations and follow instructions from the Team Leader.
• Inspect materials and completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Safely operate hand tools and production equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following company safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with the production team and perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous production, manufacturing, construction, or labour experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of building materials is an asset.
• Ability to use a hammer and read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to read and understand work orders.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Pay :- $20.00 - 21.00
