Job summary

ABL Employment Inc. is seeking a hands-on assembler in Burlington, ON for full-time hours with temp-to-hire potential. You’ll assemble heat tracing products at your own workstation, following drawings and work instructions, and contribute to a collaborative team while staying busy and independent.

Wage is $22/hour plus 4% vacation pay, with weekly pay and full training provided. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM, at a local Burlington facility.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and basic power tools.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Reliable transportation to Burlington.

Responsibilities

• Assemble heat tracing products and components using hand and basic power tools.
• Follow shop drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to build products to specification.
• Pick required materials and components from inventory.
• Cut, prepare, and assemble materials and fittings.
• Complete both standard and custom orders with a high degree of accuracy.
• Package finished products and prepare them for shipping.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
