Product Support Specialist

Heavy Equipment Parts & Service

Territory: Eastern Ontario (Ottawa and surrounding regions)

Work Environment: Shop, Road, Office, Customer Premises

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent, 1 Vacancy, Monday-Friday

Summary

This position is responsible for driving parts sales growth and providing exceptional customer support within the territory. Activities include calling and visiting customers, prospecting new clients, developing relationships, preparing estimates, providing product demonstrations, and acting as a solutions provider.

Position Requirements / Qualifications
Education / Certification
  • Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, Sales, or related field, or equivalent experience

Experience
  • Minimum 3 years in a customer service or related role
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Experience analyzing sales data and forecasting
  • Developing sales strategies
  • Heavy equipment environment experience preferred
Responsibilities

  • Prospect and evaluate new customer opportunities
  • Promote and sell product lines within the territory
  • Prepare quotations, follow up on sales, and process orders
  • Coordinate parts delivery and support credit control
  • Maintain and update customer database
  • Plan and execute customer visits
  • Inspect machines and leverage parts sales during site visits
  • Promote products and campaigns
  • Identify customer needs and develop solutions
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitors
  • Analyze sales and develop growth strategies
  • Prepare market analysis reports
  • Conduct prospecting calls and log communications
  • Develop and present parts packages
  • Seek new sales opportunities and grow sales margins
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams for customer support
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
